Jeep Stuck in the Woods - West Chester, PA

I got my jeep stuck in the woods - yes it's still there - wondering if anyone knows anyone in the west chester, pa area that could help with a tow..a buddy tried with his 4x4 truck but could not get up the hilll - most likely need a tow from another jeep...

Can you get more straps to reach it from the bottom of the hill How bad did you sink the jeep maybe shovels and a few extra hands to push or pull on it When I was in college my buddy got his tj stuck on the frame and 4 of us picked it up and rocked it back and forth till it was unstuck

Not really stuck too bad - with the rain a frozen ground slid off the trail and the more I move it the more is slides sideways down a hill and is now a few inches away from a tree - so thinking if I don't find someone who can make it up the hill soon I'll had to quadratec and pick up a winch - install it and hopefully get out of there...the sad part is took my son who's turning 13 and was going to let him drive in the field - but he never had a chance...

Like mentioned above, get a Come-A-Long or Hi-Lift from Tractor supply and should work well as a hand winch and help out.

The portable 2k winch, might not have enough for yanking the Jeep.
Usually portbale winches need a 2" recevier hitch to mount to.

Get two 4x4's tow strapped to each other then to you.. This should be able to pull the jeep out and up the hill.

Thanks for all the replies - the Jeep is finally out - I went to the hardware store this morning and low and behold there was a monster jeep in the parking lot - so he was nice enough to lend a hand and pull me out - lesson learned do not take new stock sahara deep in the woods - so prior to the next excursion I have to install a winch and get some real treads!!!

My Gf goes to Cabrini, I drive through campus almost every day Haha. I don't know any places in Wayne but I do know a few interesting trails outside of west Chester. What jeep is yours? Obviously a white Tj. I see one outside of west with like 28" BFGs and like a 6" lift, is that yours?

$1000 for tires, never! I got 4 new 33"bfgs on Craigslist with the trade of my worn street tires for less than the price of one bfg. It's just a matter of time before another deal comes along!
Yeah thats my jeep, I put a brand new tan top on it then rolled it the next day. Top was torn but the windows were fine, hence the mix matched.
I'm trying to head up to Rausch creek on either the 19, 20, 21, 22. Idk if it will go through for me but I've heard it's sick.

I'd love to join but I can't. We have a rugby match on the 21st and I coach Radnor's HS rugby team who has a match the 22nd.

Would ya be free maybe the first/2nd week of May to do something? I'm basically done with classes and work by then.

I have 1.25 in bl, its really simple. Jus loosen up the mounts on one side and remove your rear tires (theres mounts on the frame in behind them). Jack up the body, put the pucks in, tighten 'em down some. Do the other side. Then tighten everything back down. I'm mostly free now except on Wednesday's if you'd want me to come help ya.
