Just realized I may be able to head out with you on the 8th. That's my 1 saturday off for the month. I'd need to be able to take my dog, though. How bad an idea do you think that would be?

I would give them a call and ask, or PM Joe his screen name is Quadratec and ask him. I know at the Jeff Daniels show people had their dogs, but at the PA Jeeps show dogs weren't allowed on the fairgrounds. I don't take my dog because he's little and gets freaked out around alot of little kids if they don't approach him gently and he gets too heavy to carry around (he's about 15 pounds) once he's scared, but he LOVES to ride in the Jeep.
We'd love to see you. Hope you can make it.
Did you ever make it down to Fishing Creek?

welcome Muddhog! we're just getting started with the group thing but feel free to throw out questions or suggestions.
as for your tire question here's my response
do you a lift on the Jk yet? if not you might want/ need to lift it before you invest in tires. i have 31 10.50 15 A/T tires on my TJ. not sure what size sneakers you can put on a stick jk without rubbing.

thanks to Bear and mrs bear and kirk for a cool day. really wih we'd had more money to spend. i've added a few new things to my wish list as has Charlie.
I'm looking at a couple of wheeling ideas for us, a trip to the Pine Barrens in NJ, a trip to Tower Road near Harrisburg and for next spring a trip to Old Dogs Off Road in Winchester, Va. Old Dogs would probably be a weeked event since it's about 3 hours away from Lancaster. I've got their card to call them about the details.
i know bear Sundays work best for you for wheeling and wrenching, what about everyone else would sundays work for a day of wheeling?

oh one thing we did talk about yesterday was getting a real name decided on and a logo so we can get stickers and shirts and whatever else made. Does everyone like the name Lancaster County Jeepers? Please feel free to throw out other suggestions. For the logo Kirk had a great idea An Amish Buggy with Mudder Tires or some other aggressive looking tire. Stickey Lee gave me a quote of a one time $70 charge to set up the artwork and then depending on the style of sticker we want the price would be around $8 each. what style of sticker would you want? an oval or round style or a longer one that we could put in the hoods similar to those that Jeep Forum and Wrangler Forum offer for their paid subscriptions? your thoughts please? also, i'd like to start a website of some sort either on yahoo groups, facebook, or google groups so that we can merge the two groups i have on the forums onto one page.

Facebook is an easy free way to start a website. Plus it would be easy to communicate. I also really like the buggy logo idea. Not crazy about "jeepers" but can't really think of anything else right now. What about something like Amish Country Jeeps or Red Rose Jeep Club.

How about L.C.J.C "Lancaster County Jeep Club"?? Oval style sticks would be cool, but not apposed to the other styles. I would also prefer Facebook. I forgot to mention yesterday that I know a friend who owns and opperates a sign Co. I can contact him to a set up fee and price quote for stickers and get back to you Littlethimble. Had a fun time yesterday. Thanks for the friendship guys and gal. Peace!

Oh that would be awesome Bear!! You might just be my new best friend :-)
Please let me know.
If we can get some artwork done, then I can set up a store for Tee shirts, bags, and all kinds of other stuff through either Zazzle or Cafe Press. The club would have no over head for the store, and members could order stuff as they decide they want it.
