Im of the mind that unless you know for sure it's legal than no-go. It's a hard hobby owning a Jeep.

I have my power lines trails in Jersey that have become my go to spot. The locals said they've been going back for years. Usually we run across guys on ATV's and last time another wrangler with an FJ. I saw somewhere on here that the companies actually own a 50 foot diameter around the base of the towers.

Regardless I've been back plenty of times and there are no stories of people getting busted (unlike Penndel). Also have 3 entrances so if things did ever get sketchy you have a way to slip out. I'd say go for it. I'll be down for a run soon ish. Just gotta track down this mystery noise. Unfortunately I think it's all in the tranny

X2. The only way I worry is if I am within sight of the road, or earshot with a residential area nearby. You need someone to call in order for the cops to come. The cops usually don't care one bit and think it looks like fun, if they even respond. And always keep track of other ways in and out.

Bump.

From delco/Broomall currently live in Media. Stock TJ with 31s. Would be interested in the rausch 101 course, the pine barrens or a trip to Centralia.

We are most likely headed to Rousch next Sunday 11/1. Hooking up with a group of stock Jks already signed up. PM me if you might want to come. Probably pretty much all Green trails for the majority of the group. 05 TJ 4.0, 3"Zone Lift, 33x12.5

Thumbs up New to the Wrangler world!

Just picked up my first Wrangler a few weeks ago. Loving it so far! I'm in the Trooper/West Norriton area.

How warm does that thing run? Perhaps it is the photo angle, but it looks like the winch covers a large portion of the grill opening. Nice looking rig. what is it saying.....? Get me dirty?

Thanks for the invite.

I am not sure I would be ready for a trip that soon. I would like to replace my front pinion seal and my u joints before I beat it up any distance from home.

Would a complete noob be OK on green trails with no instruction? I was thinking I should take the 101 course first.

Is it smart to go without rock sliders or any aftermarket armor?

Green runs are fine. The classes are awesome (I have taken them) and they put you in Blue+ situations. A full day of greens would be fine. Slow and steady.

You do not really need armor until on rocks a lot.

BurrDog, I may have off that Day, and will PM you if I get wife clearance...hahaha

Thanks, Burddog. He's waiting to get dirty soon. Only been on the beach so far. It's the photo angle. Might take the cover off, just to be safe...and let's face it, it's ugly.

Ok. Let me know if you end up being able to come. Like Bodacious said, greens are easily doable. Last time we were there we came across a paid of suburu outbacks. If they can do it your jeep will have no problem.
