I sure hope all this rain water dry up by Sunday. If not, it's gonna be a mess on the trail. Don't get me wrong. Alittle mud and water here and there should be fine, but too much can seriously sink you down and get you stuck.

I do agree but no worry on getting stuck. Plenty of folks with winches going.

It's not really a worry but more like a pain. I have a winch myself but would rather hope it doesn't come to that point.

If I can get my most-likely-hung-over ass out of bed that early I'll join you guys in the pine barrens. Should be getting my GoPro camera by Friday so I'll be itching to get some shots with that.

Anybody else leaving from Philly?

Thought I would let some local guys know that I am getting some new tires in the near future. I know this is not the for sale section, but since you guys are all local I figured I would let you know I have 31" Grabber AT2's with about 70% of the tread left on them I will be selling/trading. If you are interested PM me. A few guys in this thread are running them and can tell you that for all terrains they are great tires. I am going bigger and with super swampers since this is not my primary vehicle.

^^^Disregard her

On the bright side Penndel is good to go as long as you don't bring a caravan of rigs and go in the morning instead of later since that's when you'll have the residents call on ya. Thats when a lot of the locals go.

On the not so good side its a complete shit show. Once you go to where you would cross the creek you're not going any further without dedicated MT's. 35s and locked, maybe 33s if it dries out. Rediculously rutted out. Couldn't even do a bunch of stuff before the crossing. Someone tore it up bad and the rain didn't help. Would go there as a last resort but make sure some one has a winch. Between me and jakbak we were good but felt sketchy trying to recover since there was that fear of dropping into another rut and getting stuck trying to yank eachother out.

Yup... been looking forward to it for a month now. I did went there last weakend just to check out the area and it was nice. I was unsure if my mostly stock jeep could handle it or not so decided to try out one trail out. Made it through fine but the condition was dry unlike what we'll see on Sunday from all the rain and possible snow.

Yeah I know about 4 weeks ago some guys got taken out of there in cuffs. I dont know if they were repeat offenders, got smart with the cops, or had warrants, but that is wetlands and a lot more serious than getting caught at normal offroad spots that aren't legal.

I have an 06 with a 2.5' body lift on 32's no winch yet... Hopefully by summer time... It's still a work in progress but I think it's coming along pretty well.
