New guy here. Picked up my 2014 JKU last week and I want to hit the trails. I'm hearing that Wharton is the closest place for decent trails.

I'll keep an eye on this thread for groups heading down there. I live in Chadds Ford and will be one of the few non 10a anvil wranglers on the road. I look forward to getting her dirty.

What's up Rick. Me and a few guys I wheel with head down all the time. I highly recommend getting her water ready before you start jumping in holes down there. They can get pretty deep.
I had to pull two rigs out in Sunday and the dug them selves down really deep. You don't wanna ruin your baby first time out. PM me and I'll buzz you next time we head out.

New to Jeeps myself only 1100 miles on my JKU. I've done some mods and would like to get it dirty now. I'm in NE Philly. I've done nothing for deep water and would not know what to do. I've never been off road in my life. Would be nice to hook up with you guys. Here is some pics of my rig.

I'm near NE High School. I bought the Jeep new and installed everything myself. My buddy helped with the lift and my son helped me take the hard top off and put the soft top on. This is how it looked when I bought it except for the decals I put on it the first day.

For sure. I'm pulling the motor in about 20 minutes so drive shafts right after that. I hear ya on that I haven't been out in about a year or so now. Still getting my beast ready for some trails.

haha, rims are good, tires are another story! you should see the two that aren't on the rims. You could probably blow one out with a toothpick!

You should really just save one for when those 35s bend your tailgate. Slap the stocker on the spare and tell the dealer you don't know what happened. And when they ask why your spare is different just say your cheap

Ha, I'm waiting for that to happen so I have an excuse to buy that teraflex hinge replacement. I have a strict "something has to break before I upgrade" rule now. I may or may not drive her harder because of that rule...

Damage of the Day. Friendly reminder that just because a hill climb is relatively easy, doesn't mean it won't find a way to make something go wrong.

Nice, I thought for sure it would have been the inside of your tires where its almost rubbing on the rear spring perches.

There's a bald spot on the perch that I might end up taking the angle grinder to. Right now I'm on the fence with either getting some cragars or just finding an OEM alloy and put some spacers on. Right now I'm thinkin about a set of 10 spoke cherokee wheels. Turbines
