If anybody is in the Manayunk area and spots a black Bostich tool box with yellow/orange piping with a ton of tools in it for sale or a GoPro Silver Hero 3 for sale that looks fishy call me at (717) 676-0342. Someone cut my window last night.

That sucks man. That is why I usually left my Jeep covered in mud when the soft top was on when I had to park it on the street. If you even leave your car unlocked 1 night you usually find it rummaged through. Do you have the serial number for the GoPro?

What sucks is that I normally have a deck I built covering my trunk. I had just moved the weekend before so I took it off and hadn't put it back on. That probably would have prevented the moron from breaking in in the first place.

No update on the gear. I've already written all the stuff off. Can't imagine the cops are going to look into it more than just taking the police report.

Bought new tools yesterday. GoPro is gonna have to wait a bit. Damn thing is EXPENSIVE.

I'm keeping my Jeep empty from now on. Nothing in the trunk and nothing in consoles that don't need to be there.

Oh, and thank god for my Bestop under seat lock box. Kept the extra clip and ammo for my Sig safe.

Me and a couple guys from work were talking about putting some tech stuff in the trunk and hiding out in the bushes and waiting for him to stop by again. I'd have a few "words" for him.

Edit: And thank you guys for checking! I'm scanning it too but haven't seen anything.

I live in downtown Philly now, the Hi-lifted jack I mounted on the back was hit down the first day by the upper bumper they set on our underground garage, I was like... wtf? I was really glad that the tailgate didn't break. anyway, nice to meet you guys here. here is couple pics of my buddy, all were taken back in Washington state though

Invest in a cheap engraver and carve you initials into your tools as you replace them. First it makes someone pause before taking casually 'borrowing' and second, it makes it easier to get your gear back when it's been pawned. My brother's tool were mostly left behind when his workplace was robbed, just a small set that another guy had borrowed was taken. The cops returned most of it a week later, the CJB, TWB, and CGB (Dad, brother, Grandad) was easy to spot.

Come on, you know you got to post the picture. You know how much we all like pictures here.

I am really surprised at the damage you did to a Dana 44 with 33's though. That has to be a major defect. There is no way that should happen. I beat on my Jeep so much harder then you and have no problems like that.

Yeah same, I had a D44 under my last rig, only ever had 1 problem with it. Re shimmed it never had a problem after that.

Hello everyone! From the NE Philly area and new to jeeps. Would like to go on some trails. Also, are there any mechanics here from Philly? Looking to get a SYE and DS installed.

Plymouth Auto and Tire did my lift install for $275 (I bought the lift off quadratec) and got 5 35" duratracts for $1,550. Good bunch of guys and wrangler owners.

Called them for a price but they would't quote me one because they said they would have to see the jeep first. Don't know why but thanks for the reply anyway

Because if you got a rust bucket they will charge you more. Also, always wear dirty clothes to those places and tell them cash to get the best price. I own a full service garage and would do it cheap if I had insurance.
