I was bummed to find out that I cant attend Bantham this year. I was planning on going up and seeing what deals I could find on tires, wheels and a lift, but my son has an out of state tournament.

Anyway, I'm in Plum, Have my summers off, and definitely plan on making it first opportunity.

Keep an eye out for you. I'm from N. Huntingdon. Don't have a CB as of yet. I'll be driving my beat up black '03 TJ. It's a slow work in progress, but aren't all Jeeps?

There is a Beaver County bar called McHill's Bar and Grill on RT 68 near Cranberry Twp that is having a Jeep meet/greet this evening from 5-9. I would expect 15 or so Jeeps this evening to climb on the rocks and wall stones around the parking lot, drink some beer and enjoy really good $0.40 wings. The owner is talking about bringing in more rock and making a mini rock crawl area and maybe putting in a mud pit (I hate mud) if things start to take off. He wants to do this every Wednesday, but I feel that every week is going to kill it, it should be every other week I think.

McHill's Bar & Grille, 562 PA-68, New Brighton, PA 15066

Swear I'm going to make some of these events someday. All these events seem to be on the western side of the city, while the others posting in here are eastern side.

hey all, my Name is Matt and I am from Butler PA and I just bought a 2015 Jeep Sahara Unlimited last friday, to say that I have the jeep bug is an understatement lol. I have had more than 20 really nice lifted trucks, all lifted, tires, wheels etc.. but the wrangler is proving to be so much more fun. I cant wait to meet everyone. Hope you all are having a great day. PS, I need a 3.5" lift and 35s if anyone is feeling generous, its killing me to drive a stock vehicle lolol

I was there last night helping the owner set up the Jeep "Wall Crawl" obstacle, so that is done. Next we want to set up tree trunks similar to what 4WD has at the Jeep Festival in Columbiana Ohio, but that will not happen until we see if Jeeps start showing up to play and he is making money on the Jeep thing.

His idea is that just as you have bars doing car cruises and bike nights, there is no one set up to attract Jeeps. Well, he is specifically building a Jeep play area to attract Jeeps that want to gather, meet and greet, and of course spend money on food and drinks. He had trouble with the bike night thing because it came biker "colors" AKA gangs and with that came drugs and fighting. He pushed that scene out and tried car cruises, and it failed because the car folks did not like the gravel driveway. Being that he has a JKU that is lifted, he decided that this is something that no other bar caters to. Wicked Jeeps Western Pa often does Primante Brothers meet and greets, but you park in a parking lot and stand around bored. Sounds boring to me! Here, you will be able to play and take pics of your Jeep climbing on some things. Way better! So the hope is that this takes off as word spreads, people show, and money is made. If that all happens, he will continue to add more play areas behind the bar.

We were at Rausch Creek for the JK Freaks "Freak Festival". I lead a group on blue/black/red trails there each year for a few years now.

I'm glad you enjoyed McHill's, next week on Wednesday we will try again, Garrick was very happy with the turnout last Wednesday, we peaked at 27 Jeeps on the property with folks coming and going and there was a lot of action/interest with people doing the McHill's Wall Crawl obstacle. If the numbers continue to be favorable, Garrick will add more Jeep obstacle attractions to try to attract more from the outer fringes who may want to come hang out, talk, and play with their Jeep.... well... and buy food and a couple drinks because as you know, that is the actual goal of this. Make money!

And yes, based on feedback for the desire to have outdoor seating and service for families with children, Garrick is going to have out a 10' x 20' canopy area with seating. This will allow families to bring children and sit down to eat.
