Hey everyone, planing another Rausch Creek trip for 11-23-13. Looking to meet up there 8-830 and talking about running greens and blues on the north side (extra $10). Chime in if interested!

Yes the colours are a rating system, green's 'easiest', blue is next level up. We have had a number of first times with us on past trips and with 1 exception everyone made it home with nothing major in stock jeeps. (and the exception wasnt THAT bad, check out the 11-2 trip thread Rausch Creek trip 11-2-13)
Rookies always welcome.
I may be able to make it this trip. I'll let you know as it gets closer. The exception to no one taking damage but me was due to my line. If you see the picture don't let that keep you from going. It was my own fault and nothing to expect from the greens or blues.
Would a stock TJ on 30" with no lift be able to do the trails or do I need bigger tires
You will be fine on the green trails. You might need a little extra spotting if we encounter some rocks because the TJ oil pans sit pretty low. Other than that, it's a Jeep and extremely capable even in stock form. Plus, your break over angle is so much better than the JKU guys like me.
We had a great time on the last trip. I hope all you guys can come. The guys that were there last time had a great time. Hoping to run the NE side and hit the 30's blue trails. Can't wait, all my new rear suspension parts are here except my shocks, just need to get them on.
It looks like there are a few that are looking to run mostly greens and some that want to hit the blues, if your on the bubble about whether to run blues (for any reason) please drop me a PM. we MIGHT be splitting into two smaller groups up at RC. You don't have to commit one way or the other till then but hoping to get an idea who wants to run more greens.
Hey Rick, Sorry paying no attention. No winter trips planned, i am recovering from shoulder surgery so it will be march before im ready to go up again and i haven't heard anything from anyone else.
I have had 0 problems in the snow, i have 250lb of sand in the back and have driven up hills with people spun out all over with no issue. just been loving it.
