Me and my boys are thinking about heading up north of Tamaqua for a bit of wheelin today or tomorrow. Wet sloppy snow will make it interesting .. Any one else?

Wow,, you went almost thru the big holes... Years ago, north of there, on that old power line it used to get really muddy, got stuck there many a time.. I noticed that big tree is still felled across a really good trail, were you able to get around the tree? My chain saw is too small to cut that big tree..

My buddy wanted to stick to the trails with tire tracks in them, since we're not familiar with the area, this was our first time out since you gave me the info quite a few months ago. Would love to meet you up there some time and thank you in person. Besides, I'm sure I'll need to be pulled out of another hole again

Cool,, those skinny trails to the left and the right sides of the major trails are all doable with a stock jeep and a bit of skill.. Most all of the really deep water has tricky , off camber bypasses. There are a couple of sections on the north end of the power lines that are impassable unless you're lifted, locked, and have a winch.. Tons of fun... Pm me later and we'll set something up after the spring thaw...

This area is perfect for stockers.. Nothing beyond what a stocker can easily do with a bit of good driving..,and by passes around the deep stuff.. only 2 sections you just wouldn't make it down, or back up, a side trail, one way in one way out... So you'll miss nothing by not going there..

No,, years ago I called the Kovatch companies main number, they patched me through to the head of security and he said " no problem ". Just don't trash the place, and don't go too far west past the no trespassing signs..

I hate that when I'm on a really bumpy road and hit the wrong button,, anyway,,,, Saturday May the 4th... I have to plan that far ahead as I'm in this truck 6 days a week.. It would be really cool to get a group together, meet, greet and wheel... Let's all start PMing one another and set something up... Those of us from the Berks county area can meet, caravan up, and meet you guys from the north up there.. It would be a great day of mild wheeling, and/or difficult wheelin... Sat May 4th, etched in stone for me. !!!
