Hey I'm in Carbon too! Every trail seems to have a freakin' gate. Once in a while I volunteer for Hickory Run State Park and they allow me to go on a few of the snowmobile trails. One should be open in the fall (Fourth Run Trail) that's pretty cool. Three or four stream crossings, a tunnel, etc. I actually might try it out tomorrow to see if it's open.

I have not had to. The two biggest clubs in my area have trips to there once a month at least. I haven't been in forever since unlike them I haven't found the money tree yet and as of right now I am way past broke

Anyone know of any trails in Western PA? I fully intend to hit some of the parks out east, but in the mean-time I need to get off road.

Rock Run Recreation Park is in patton pa which is about 2 hours south east from pittsburgh. Wellsville Ohio has trails and they are 1 hour or so east of pittsburgh WellsvilleTrails. Jeep Skool is in eastern ohio but exactly where I'm not sure www.jeepskool.com.

Wouldn't that be 1 hour WEST of Pittsburg sense Ohio is west?
