I know of a few but they are nothing extreme or anything. They are fun for the first few time. They are alot of fun in the snow.

Frame rot fixed and body mounts replaced are the biggest issues. I'll be tackling those in 2 weeks, I work 2 weeks on and 1 week off (paid) so my next days off I should have all the parts and tools here to get crackin!

Check this out. http://www.daveysjeeps.com/specials.html you can get whole frames from 150 to 1000 bucks.
Another good place it you don't want to go that route http://autorust.com/store/jeep?zenid...7e37b5b0567f3b

I had to lay in the dirt/mud this last week under my carport to get my lift on my Tj. Clearly worth the 3 showers a day. Of course its gonna be beautiful out this week though

Good luck!

Yup - spend some time in Billtown, but actually liver in M'ville. First Jeep was TJ 2000 (Solar Yellow), with second Jeep 2012 JK 2-dr hardtop. Haven't taken JK off road yet - waiting for the newness to wear off.

Theres a pretty nice trail outside of Blossburg, creek crossings, a couple small hill climbs, mud hole.. Otherwise, theres a few short/simple trails.

Hey all,

I'm in Williamsport, just moved here a couple years ago. I used to wheel a bunch in an 04 TJ, and got out of it for a bit. Now I'm rehabbing a 98 TJ and hope to get out on the trails in a few months (looking for a TJ D35 with 4.10s if anyone has one rotting).

This place is right here, and looking promising:
Anthracite Outdoor Adventure Area > Home

Anyone get to the Jeep thing they just had recently?

I will be moving up to Williamsport in a couple weeks, looking to meet up with some Jeepers/find some riding spots. Is there a local Jeep club?

Idk about a club, but I'll talk to some friends and see about getting a thing for Thanksgiving weekend going. Anyone interested?!

That sounds good. We may need to make a Facebook group page. We did that down here where I live now and it went from a few of us to around 180 jeepers.. Makes it much easier to communicate. Just a thought.

Hmm, pretty good idea. My name on FB is Jared DeBlois if ya want to add me. I won't be in the area til that weekend so I wont be around for the next couple months. I know some people and some trails too, so even if they can't come I know where it is and where to go.

Hey guys. Over the past couple months I've talked to some people about putting together a Thanksgiving run somewhere in the Tioga/Lycoming area.

Theres been quite the interest from the people I've talked to, with everything from stockers to well built rigs and everything in between.

If anyone is interested, contact me. If we've already talked, we'll be in contact once I can get a general head count and an idea of a day/place.

Thanks y'all

Those are always fun though! It rained like a banshee here earlier and possible snow tomorrow, so no top down for me..
