We have an 09 wrangler X with 285's and an 07 X with the 4.10 ratio...in fact, the 07 I am buying today in about 2 hours.
No legal trouble eh? OK, So you have permision to be on the land you wheel from the land owner(s)/indians/state? If not that makes what your doing illegal as the only legal public wheeling land in WNY are winter seasonal roads. The two closest OHV parks to us in northern erie county are Welcome to Facebook - Log In, Sign Up or Learn More (Wrangler Ave) and www.whisperingpineshideaway.com. Each are about two hours away from Amherst.

If your interested in some legal wheeling oppurtunities via area clubs check out if you haven't yet..

Yes, with permission. My buddy is a Mohawk and is married to a Seneca. They live there and since it is her, her father and their friends who own these or have permission to use them we have also been granted that permission. I would have to work it out if i were to bring additional people but as long as we convince them that we will be respectful of the land and not do stupid things they shouldnt care. Many natives use these trails and it certainly shows. I would be more comfortable with having a few of them with us if we were to roll in there with any more than our 2 jeeps though. just in case, it would help clarify things. the land is out in the middle of nowhere and we have been going for some time without issue. We are planning a trip to Rausch creek someday but this will do for now.

Nope. I don't go offroading illegally or at least didn't when I had my last jeep. If you find out who the land owners are and get permision to wheel their feel free to have fun and post on up here or on the local club forums and or local club forum face book pages

The spot you are referring to, also known as Demler's (because that's who owns it) is very illegal to go to. It is regularly patrolled. It's not just illegal because they are worried about someone damaging the land or hurting themselves, but more so because there's things in that ground (mud) that is not good for human interaction.

Do yourself and the rest of the wheeling community a favor, if you don't have direct permission from a land owner to use a piece of land, don't use it! It makes us all look bad and really hurts our chances at ever getting a real, legal place to enjoy our vehicles off road. Not trying to be the fun police, just making a statement. I've been in the game a long time, it's not getting any easier for us.

Thinking about taking a drive down to Allegany this weekend. Where did you find these trails?
