there's lots of jeeps here, but they're prissy city jeeps. the guy down the street from me has the only sweet jeep i've seen and he beats the crap out of it.
WNYM and WNYO are the most local to the Buffalo area.. FL4x4 has been around for like 30 years and is Rochester Based but has members in the buffalo area.. Twisted Toys and BC4W are based out of the corning/elmira area.. Erie Jeep People is the closest P.A club to WNY.
im in corfu , moved here a couple years ago and only know a few fellow jeepers that i go with .. alwase looking for some more fellow jeepers and new places to go ..
I'm in amherst NY. I have a place i go with my friend about once or twice a month. hit me up and lets get a whole fleet of wranglers out there. mr_mart1n@yahoo.com
United 4wd in clarence. If your looking for repairs. United is not a parts store but they can get you parts if need be, Especially if you have them do the work you need done. If I lived in WNY I wouldn't trust any other mechanic in wny then the guys at united to do the work on my jeep. They are extremely knowledgable about all things offroad and 4wd as well as trully a awesome group of guys.. Nothing but good things to say about them as you can tell. I will get you there number later this morning if you want it.. unk:
Wow thats great news! I'm very familiar with Clarence, where abouts is the shop located? And also Eric, I'm looking to have my Jeep regeared very soon, is this something your shop does?
Both shops do everything 4wd related and do it very well.. You can't go wrong with either one. Not only will you be dealing with very knowledgable guys but easy going as well..
Of course the XJ is still going without fail. It's coming apart soon for another project. The chassis will be for sale with engine, transmission, suspension, cage, bumpers and fuel cell. It could be completed any way if someone wants depending on what they want to spend.
Sorry to bump such an old thread but this is the newest one I could find. Just got the new Jeep and am looking to take it out and see what it can do. Anyone know anywhere to go that isn't too far from Buffalo and want to meet up, let me know.
Stock 2011 Wrangler Sport, General Grabber AT/2's. Never been off-road before so looking for something "beginner level".
