My wife will be there, but on a snowboard. I'll be about 25 min away at my mother in laws house "exploring".

That's awesome. Hopefully they'll be making snow so you can get a few runs in! I have a really strong feeling I won't be getting any trips in this winter due to my 4 month old daughter, but hey. I should have enough to keep me busy.

Anyone have any experience with this type of swaybar disconnect? I noticed the disconnect pin is in the middle of the link bar rather than the lower mount. Does anyone know who make this disconnect?
Thanks

I'm definitely interested. Just picked up an 09 Rubicon last week and I'm looking for a chance to try it out. Should be a nice change coming from a 2500 diesel.

whats up everybody! been a while since i posted.
has anyone with an 08 jk ever have an oil pressure problem?
i think its my pressure, the oil pressure light comes on when the RPM's drop below 1000. my oil is good, i just changed it within 500 miles ago and the dip stick is saying my level is fine.
i called up jeep today for shits and gigs and they want 2200 dollars for the repair. who the fuck are they to tell me a price like that for a new oil pump. i wanted to see what they charge cause i dont feel like pulling out an oil pump my self would be worth it. but for that price i would. im having trouble finding the pump on line to replace as well.
i just want to ask if anyone has had a similar problem. i know these motors have their issues, and with only 80,xxx on the odometer the oil pump shouldnt be bad.
thanks, Rob

Rob, could be a sensor. Maybe check the pressure with a real gauge??

This is what I'm thinking as well. Could be a sensor or if the newer jk's have an electric oil pressure gauge, could be the sending unit for the factory gauge. Mechanical gauges are inexpensive and as long as installed correctly are 100% accurate.
Good luck!

Thanks guys! I'm definitely going to get that checked. I've already been looking at installing a pressure gauge too. Something good to have I guess.
