Warwick,
Haha judging by your avatar I might be embarassed by my grill. Absolutely you can bring any grill you want. If it rains we can always set up the grill and bonfire in the old train tunnel, it stays plenty dry.

Hey Mikd.. I hear you and thanks for being honest...no offense taken..I just wish "upstate" was a bit closer so I'd have access to more riding trails..you are kinda far up..but if I am bored that day ya never know...haha

Convoy?

For those coming from NJ and from the NYC metro area, I'm up for meeting somewhere and ride in together. Let me know if there are any takers.

Im on the border of NY/NJ in Suffern. We could meet and then get right onto the Thruway or take 17 all the way up.

The 2dr black sport was not mine, I believe he has 33's and cut fenders in those picks. He now has springs and shocks from a 4 dr jk rubi, gave him a bit of a lift.

Edit; just checked the pics there were 2 black sports there that day. The one with the stock fender flares and black rims I have no idea what he is running.

Open invite

Address is easy, it's directly across the street from the Rock Tavern post office on rt207. Can't miss it, big yellow box truck at the end of the driveway. Pull in driveway, go past house and barn, continue down the dirt rd. If there aren't jeeps in the field on the left continue throught the tunnel and into the trails. Haha just follow the tracks. Txt me at 401 8037 to let me know you are coming.
Mike
DAM!! Missed it, I was waiting for a PM. Did not realize it was an open invite to the trail. I stink. My fault for not checking the thread.

Soooo...I was thinking Rock Tavern is not far from my house in Pine Bush at all, next time after playing on the trail, we all head back to my bar for drinks?

Looks like some rain, this is good it's makes the trails more technical. Will definitely set up the bonfire and bbq in the tunnel, good to have a dry area in the rain.

Depending on where in PB you are I would guess about 20-25min to my place. 52 to 208 should do it.

If any one wants to meet on the NY/NJ border I'll be headed up that way around 11 to get to MikD's by around 12. There are several gas stations in NJ to stop at before you hit NY (in case you want cheap gas) or a good rest stop on the Thruway North when you enter NY. PM me or respond here to set up a spot!!

I will be there around 2. My daughter has gymnastics at noon, and we will head on over there right after.

So what is the date that everyone is going? I've been away for the past week and missed the last outing.

Logirl and I were just working on that. She is coming form Staten Island and her route takes her right past my house. I told her about that rest stop on the Parkway just before the border. Still waiting for a response.

Weather report seems to have cleared up! Rain in the morning clearing out for a partly sunny afternoon at damn near 60deg! Picked up 6 pallets and dragged about 500# of wood down to the tunnel for the fire!

No problem, we will need to make several wood runs tomorrow, plan on starting th fire early. We have one jeep showing up early so we can weld his control arm mount back on, he tore it off on our last outing. Should be a good day.
