Recently heard on the news that beef jerky is actually healthier for an active person than granola. Yeah baby!
Apparently granola is glued together with mass amounts of sugar. Told my wife I was doing the right thing all along. PETA baby...people eating tasty animals. So we should throw some bacon in that deepfrier cause it's a health food, then cover it in cheese cause thats dairy, another health food. Then enjoy the great outdoors with our jeeps, we're "greenies" afterall.

I am off this week starting Tuesday Night and back to work on Sunday Morning . I am down for some work this week at Mike's. If your down with it maybe even after your work hours Mike. If Anyone else have some free time this week Lets plan a little work party.
Sorry I missed out this passed weekend. My Son Mikey was in town from the Navy and is Leaving for his One Year Afghanistan commitment working with the Army on the ground. We both would have hung this past weekend but He and I put a stage 3 supercharger up grade kit in his Car and ran into a few Issues that tied us up and prevented us from Making it out. at least I got to spend some time with him before He Left.
And for the record, If anything happens to my boy as a result of our Enemy. I am personally going to mount and 50 cal though the Moon roof on My Jeep, smiley faces and all, and blaze down some Camel trails over in that Sandbox all while throwing some lead down range.
Lets Wheel Boys!

P.S. Anyone on this board just get some work done on their Jeep In Pine Bush NY. The Village Drop Shop its called. My buddy's/ coworker has a shop there and just told me he Took 35's off a Blue "TJ", I believe it is, And put a new lift and 39's on it. I would love to see that Jeep. Anyone?

Mike, I think the 50cal mounted on the roof would be excellent for commuting! Makes those left lande bandits much easier to deal with haha.

Looks like another slow week at work so we should def plan a day, maybe actually get started on the log bridge. Had an idea for a nice water fording spot too, just need Kyles machine for a day. Need to come up some ideas for obstacles. Have new chains on both of my saw's so we are pretty much ready to go.

I'm around on Thursday to give you guys some help building. I've got some ideas for new obstacles such as:

1) A Bacon Bridge- when we are done with it, we eat it.

That's all I have for now, but I'll think of some others.

Puttin this back to the top to keep everyone in the loop The trails are pretty much dirt roads but a day full of Jeeps is always a good day

Anybody in the area have the rear seatbelts for a 98tj they don't need? And all the mounting hardware and all? I went to install the backseat in my jeep today for the first time and aperently they didn't have that stuff. And apperently they snapped off one of the bolts for the mounting hardware on the front brackets for the seat.... Yay more work lol

Gonna try for Thursday as a cutting day. No "testing the trails" this time, hopefully actually get some cutting done.

Hi folks!

I'm still waiting for my JkUR. Was supposedly scheduled for delivery to the dealer Monday, but nothing yet. :-/

Anyway, while I wait for it I'm deciding on mods and was hoping for a little input on tires. I'm thinking Duratracs, but I keep hearing they aren't great for trails that are rock heavy due to 2-ply. sidewalls.

my question is: Do the trails you tend to ride have a lot of rocks? Any of you running Duratracs? How do you like them? I'm also debating whether to go 33x15 or35x16.

Thanks and hopefully I'll get to tag along on a ride soon.
