Absolutely. Just depends on my wife's school schedule, in a few weeks she'll be into a new set of classes that should free up Sunday's a bit.

Very nice! I went on a trail near me last weekend that seemed like it would be some fun if it ever rained. Its more of a fire road than a trail but it had some mud potential if the rain would fall. I had my 7 month old son with me and it got kinda rough so I had to turn around and I never got to see how far it goes.

Any time between 10 and 5 and if you look up the Rock Tavern post office, I am directly across the street. There is a yellow box truck at the end of the driveway. Go past the barn and down the dirt rd, once through the tunnel make a left and follow the trails. You'll find us.

Mike me and several other Jeep buddies wanna do a 101 with you and the guys, we are all really pumped up about the 101 and learning all the in's and out from the masters of off roading that seem to congregate at your place. We are all relatevely new to off roading, I've had 3 Jeeps but never really went off roading besides a gravel roads. Now that I have my new Rubi I'd love to get to know its capabilities etc from you guys with experience. Let us know when you guys plan the next 101.

Haha, not sure about "masters of offroading...", just a group that likes to have fun. We'll do a couple of 101 days in order to keep the groups small.

I have to go to a wedding in Maryland tomorrow, and for some reason I don't think testing out the new trails at Mikes place is a good enough excuse for my wife. I'll catch up with you guys May 5th.

That would be fine by me, but I don't think anyone would enjoy it. Its really just a poorly maintained dirt road. Next time I run up there Ill post here and see if anyone wants to go.

Thank You for the supporting words as far as may boy goes guys . Pine bush and Monkers I hope to see you out there soon,Plus the others I forgot to mention,//// I too am a Vet, but some how having your boy sent into harms way is much more of a difficult pill to swallow.
On a Lighter Note I spent a great day with Mike at his place putting in an good day of Physical labor for a good cause Thursday. Tal419 was right there to with us, Thanks bud! Good to Met you to Marine Mike! I know it might Piss a little rain On Saturday. But I will be hitting up the BBQ under the bridge at Mikes at some time Saturday. Granted it may be mostly green blue trails, but that's gonna chance , the more time we spend there the better it will get. Hope to see my Old and new friends their. Sleep well Jeepers. P.S Thanks for making it all Legally Possible MikeD, I owe you a Repair bud.

I am one of the older guys At Mikes you will see on the trial. I do know what can get you in trouble real quick. You all have a lot of money invested your rigs but you must understand Most of the people you wheel with in a crowd (people you do not know) would like nothing more then to see you destroy your rig for there own amusement like its a NASCAR race wreck or something. Not everyone out there has your best interest in mind. Sure we take chances all the time. but If you have no one to guide you who has some understanding of what those limits are. especially with the very capable Rubicon Jeeps. It will bite you in the Arse. Having said that, Feel free to ask me questions on the trail any time you like. Heck I should link you all my new favorite new Western Video On You tube. It shows a Woman trial guiding a beautiful 4 door Jk at Moab. Her words of wisdom and trail guidance destroyed His beautiful Jeep like it was her Job. It was so Painfully obvious that physics were not jiving with her instructions that It made my head spin. I wont let that Happen on my watch. Well I will at least give you a heads up,// some thing like, I am not sure if you will make it. but If you want to try it this is what I would do. Then you take your chances. Hey, I take calculated risks all the time. I put it out there. . It is not as simple as buy and drive. Not at f/R Locker level. Or else it would be buy drive and buy again. Lockers are great, but they are what will get you in trouble. But everyone has to start somewhere. Some of you are starting at the Top of the capability level and this makes me a little nervous. I do not want people to get caught off guard. I am just saying Ill offer up info any time you wanna talk Jeep,, anything.
This is a great sport. but It can be dangerous, especially with the Rubicons. I just don't want you to find out the hard way.
Rule # 1 Keep shinny side up. /// Rule # 2, gas and air compresses differently the water.. water does not.

Lets have fun, Hope to see ya all soon!

Cool day yesterday, thanks for helping wear in the new section. By the end of the day the stream crossing claimed it's first victim, Erics cherokee. The soft spot lined up perfectly with his wheelbase and that was it, nogo! Took a bit of winching to get him free, looks like a bridge over the stream may be required for the stockers as this is part of the "ring trail" that is supposed to be a green. Hopefully some pics and vid get loaded up later today.
