Just checked on the trails after the 3 inches of rain yesterday, holy crap the stream crossing is gonna need a bridge. Once Eric got stuck and loosened the ground it became a serious obstacle, now it's a Sadass class obstacle after the rain! The bridge just got moved up to the top of the list, no point in continuing the trail if half the vehicles can't get to it. The stream was less than a foot deep on Saturday, it's now 3ft of rushing water. Not even tempting to try and cross it at the moment, be curious to see how fast it drops after this storm.

Thinkin we might do a test run of the 101 day this Saturday with just a few people. Kinda test the waters with what will work and what won't. This will be a disorganized messy day but we gotta start somewhere.

Pat posted some pics from Saturday on the other jeep forum on the hudson valley thread. Couple cool shots of the "tree of whoa". Not sure if I can post a link to another forum? If an admin would let me know that would be cool.

I'm in for this Saturday with my son. I figure if he starts learning at age 5, we'll be good to head out to Moab by time he can drive. What time you thinking?

Has anyone ever had to get a driveshaft shortened or lengthened? I'm going to need to and looking for a rough price range.

No problem...all I do is cut and paste the list from my previous post...and either add someone or delete.
