There is a convoy of about 50 jeeps leaving from EVB in Danbury Sat morning heading the rally. If I can I'm gonna try to join them, should have a couple jeeps leaving from the Newburgh area.

Did you see this in the parking lot on Friday?

Just saw this post. Yes, we both work at the same place. To answer the question, I'm running 30 lbs. I had it in the shop at Little Bear in Buchanan a few weeks ago. Was doing ok with a little shimmy at 50 or so. He did the alignment and tightened the crap out of everything and installed a new steering dampener. This morning on route 9 just coming in to Fishkill the wobble starts but never fully manifests. Did it one more time on the way down to Peekskill. I was very pleased with the shop I just need to get it back and work through some more of the stuff....

Duke, looks like an odarkthirty departure time Saturday. The pull-out time from EVB is 6:45 I think and they are about 45 min away. I figure I will leave my place about 5:30.

Own and be able to participate in the stuff, for now I'm with my dad for anything offroad though.. But here's the pic from the other day

Ok, your in luck then. We have a great place for you to learn and practice. We meet up at my place on Saturdays quite often, the trails are pretty mild but perfect for learning. Plenty of real obstacles to keep the pucker factor up as you progress as well. I'm about 10 min from you. If you gomback through this thread you will find lots of pics to get an idea of what we do.

Hey looks like i need a cable shifter for the old tc, linkage wont stay in place and i dont wanna be crawling under in the snow to shift it by hand too often when it comes. Any hudson valley guys have a recommendation. as far as i know this is one of the better options if there are others im open to suggestions.

For those looking for some REAL wheeling pm James. The trails to and from the worksight are epic and well worth the effort. The work is for a good cause and benifits all of us. I will def be going, we worked on this project last weekend as well and it was a great time.
