The 2.5 max travel is very easy to install, sure you don't want to try it yourself? If you can change your oil and rotate your tires you have more then enough mech skilz to do it plus you'll know what is making "that" noise while your out wheelin... Yes you could say we have a healthy wheelin group in New Windsor, you're probly 5-10 minutes from our main spot.

Wellllll i can change oil and move some tires around haha. I honestly was thinking of doing it myself. The only thing turning me off is the lack of suspension experience and this being my DD. and i have no garage so id be doing it outside lol. Only 5-10 mins away from a good spot you say???? I gotta drive around and see if i cant spot some more trails in the neighborhood lol

Been through this many times with a lot of jeepers. Come to our next wheel day and run your jeep as it is, you will see many different rigs with different setups from cheap to crazy. What you want may change signifigantly after seeing how all of these different setups actually work on the trail and the road. You are lucky that you are located right where we do our thing. Def come by before you spend any cash.
Mike
Oh and you wont find our trails they are not visible from the road haha...

For all that are going to Go Topless day Sunday. I think we should all meet in the Home Depot parking lot on route 9 in Fishkill at 9:30am. We can caravan up route 9 from there

Alright so im gonna hold off with the RK lift until my 32's wear out bc then i just do everything at once. I think itll look doofie with 32's and that lift lol. But i am gonna pick up some disconnects, im looking at the teraflexs. 0-3" ones for $130. I think theyll be perfect as im running just a coil spacer lift right now. Anyone running them?

Good plan, def hold off on buying stuff till you spend some time wheelin with us. I had my 4" lift with my stock 32's for a bit (had 1.5" spacers as well) and to be honest it looked pretty good and drove quite nice. Getting a little height on the chassis helps so much with the jk's, they are so low stock.

Oh yeah check out the rough country quick discos, I think they are about $50 on the bay. Not sure what lift height they are for though.
