Hey, On a side note. Does anyone here daily drive on km2's? I've been looking for some "real world" experience. And what better than advice from jeeps that drive in the same conditions and area I do. Thanks ahead of time. (If it makes a difference I'm looking at the 33x10.5)

got jeep #2 at the house now.. have #1 (lifted one) up on craigslist for sale. anyone who knows a little more than i able to meet up with me and give it a little check over.. i think its pretty good shape, i only suspect a u joint or two that need to be replaced and thats only from being anal and rolling don the road doors off with my head out listening for clicking ...

i would love to meet someone and just go for a small ride to see if im on the rght track

Hey everybody. I need some help. I just installed my body lift today and had to drill out two side mount bolts from the top. This required me to remove my drivers seat belt. It is now locked and I cannot extend it to bolt it back into place.
Anyone know how to unlock it?
Thanks.

No lift needed, but you'll most likely talk yourself into one once you have the 31's

31's. no lift. (Also spydertrax wheel spacers. But they are not entirely necessary)
Good luck.

Don't know how that last one got in there. But stock tires.

Turned on the 2000 tj this morning and none of the tachs move... The lights on the dash all work but the rpm, speed, temp, has, battery don't move at all... Started going through fuses behind glove box with no luck funding one blown.... Any one have an idea

Yes, it was a common problem. Mine did it on rainy or humid days. If I remember correctly there was a large male/female plastic connector behind the guage pod that required some dielectric grease to keep it happy. Just google tj instrument panel problems are there should be loads of info on this issue. Simple fix at least on mine.

Hows it ride with the stiffer springs? And did you get any lift? I see you have a 4 door

I love the ride. It is a little stiffer but I'm ok with that. Haven't really tested it on any worthy trails yet, hoping to change that real soon. I thought it felt a little squishy before. I did get 2" of lift as well. The shocks and springs came off the other Jeep with less than 20 miles on them.

Just about ready. Looking for some new sway bar links as I have been told that mine are a little short with the changing out of my springs and shocks. Working on a deal for a set of '13 Rubi wheels, not the black 10a ones, then better tires. That should keep me happy for a bit... Maybe.

You want the front swaybar as close to level as you can get it. According to jks +/- 5 degrees is ok. Their just stock higher rate coils right? I cant imagine the links being that short. If they are just buy some discos! Lol you can get the RC ones pretty cheap thats what most of the guys run around here. All 100 mikes run them lol

There is a trick to it! You send the boxes to a jeep buddies house and install when she is not home. Unless it is a signifigant change most wives never notice, assuming they are not jeepers...
I've had lift kits, wheels, tires, coilovers, motorcycles, quads, and even a whole jeep wrangler show up at my place to be hidden from wives. There is an art to picking just the rite moment to mention the new item.

Amen. I'll have them shipped to my buddy's place. He's always working on someone's car (mechanic). She may not notice right away, but she will. You know what they, better to ask for forgiveness then permission. Or something like that.

My wife isn't Sicilian, but she is crazy. Enjoy 21 and single while you can. Mid 20's were pretty blurry, haha.
