Lots of small state forests around here. Logging roads all through them, too rough for most cars but i used to run them on my mountain bike. Didnt even think maybe take a ride in with the jeep till this thread. Hmmm.....

From South Glens Falls and haven't seen any trails around here yet. I've heard about a trail at lake George though "old hollow road". Haven't checked it out though. Also it seems like METTOWEE in Granville is a good place to go.

Albany/Saratoga area here. There's a pretty good amount of trails through out this area. I just got my first jeep so i will be eager to do some exploring in the spring. I have been to a bunch of trails with other people but never in my own rig

Evans mills here, no real trails around. Some truck trails on tug hill, Horace forward is one(dirt road), don't remember the other right now. CNY jeep forum has plenty of members with trail access, but aren't all that newb friendly.

I'm from prattsville and now live in tannersville (hunter mountain) there's trails up on the mt and plenty of state land. The place I bought my jeep also does a summit drive where you drive all over the mt.
