Long Island Wheeling

Does any one know of anywhere to go wheeling (Not including beaches). I am home for the summer where i went to school in Buffalo. Im having trouble adjusting from finding places up there to being home also. I hear alot about permits. where do i get them? What permit do i need for where? ext.......................

This isn't really related, but I also went to school in Buffalo, Amherst to be exact.

Which school did you attend?

Depends where on the Island you are located. I hit smiths point beach, riverhead/levvons, also montauk is cool.

Did you ever find a spot? I'm on L.I too and I've never been off-roading yet, but was lookin' for some spots too...or maybe a meet-up group that wouldn't mind teaching a newbie a few things
