Need a solid here...

I have a 90 YJ that broke down on me last Sunday ...around exit 17 on the thruway. Had it towed off to a shop off route 208 in Montgomery. Blown engine, (258)....I was stranded with my dog and GF, so I had to get off the highway. I got a ride back home thanks to the tow truck driver taking me to the airport there to pick up.a rental and head home. The jeep is still up there for obvious reasons and I have no.way to get it back down here to me.....(a tow would be around 600-700 bucks). Its like a hundred mile tow. I am also paying 30 bucks a.day for the shop to store it. Add all this with my crazy hours this week because of the heat, (I work for con edition) and you can imagine my situation. Also, the shop.said they'll wave the storage fees if I donate or junk it. I don't really want to.junk her, but also don't want to spend a.grand when all is said and done. I am looking for a good person who wouldn't mind helping me out. If.you live.close to Montgomery and are willing to let me.keep my rig in a.driveway, barn or even anywhere but where its at now I would.be most appreciative. I live.about 80 miles away and the tow would.kill me financially right now. Any help possible that can keep me.from.having to junk it or.lose it, thank you...Sean quinn

U haul has a tow bar for the jeep. 99 bucks, I think. If you pay for that and magnetic trailer lights, I will pick you up on Saturday and help you get your jeep home. I don't have the wiring harness installed, so you have to let me know by tomorrow, so that I can get everything at my end ready. How's that sound?

Also, if you have a trailer hitch with the wiring, we could always backfeed from my jeep to yours, we would just pull the battery leads off and use jumper cables to provide frame to frame grounding. If not, the trailer lights are http://www.harborfreight.com/catalog...trailer+lights. Twenty bucks, four wire.

Picked up the wiring harness for the trailer hitch, will have a hitch to attach to your toad, so we're all set for this thing. Talk to you soon.
