New to the forum

I bought my 09 Wrangler X about a year ago and I am absolutely in love with it. I got it at Nemer Jeep in Glens Falls. When I purchased my Wrangler it came with a 2.5" lift in it and 32" tires on it.

The purpose of my post is I do not know to much about what will and will not fit on my jeep in terms of tire sizes. I went today to get a price for 35's and was told by the guy at the company that I would need at least a 3" body lift in order for 35s to fit. I have done some quick reading of other posts on this forum and from what I have read it seems 35's should fit fine with the 2.5" of lift.

Any feedback and help would be great

You have enough lift for 35's, what is the backspacing on your rims? Generally about 1.5" more than stock is required.

I didn't realize you had responded to me, like I said I'm new to the forum. I will check the back spacing tonight. Also does anyone have any thoughts/opinions on the hankook mts vs bfg mts aside from price
