Upstate traills?

Heading to my mother in laws this weekend. Looking to see if anyone knows of any trails by the Lake George area that a stock '13 JKU can handle. Thanks.

From what I understand a lot of the good Jeep Trails are snowmobile trails at the moment. However I just talked to a buddy that drove up the back side of Prospect Mtn last night. But you are bound to run into sleds while we have snow. So thats prob not the safest bet

Yeah with the short season, snowmobilers tend to get pretty upset when jeeps/dirt bikes/atv's tear up the snow on their trails. I can understand that tho. As a Jeeper and a snowmobiler I can understand that. The season is only 2 or 3 months at best. But a jeep is much longer. But also be careful of environmental police on snowmobile trails in the off season. They are closed quite often and EP hands out huge fines

I can understand that. Maybe my mother in law's friend will let me drive around his property. He's got a nice sized piece of land. He's got quads, snowmobiles, dirt bikes and who knows what else. I'd drive out on the lake but its probably not frozen solid enough.
