Nothing real close, I think there's a Connecticut Jeep Club that meets, also Long Island has a Jeep club that meets regularly too, but i don't know of anything in Westchester.

Heya,

I'd be interested if you are getting anything else together for some off-roading. I'm also in Westchester.

I am in Bedford Hills in northern westchester. I know a few friends who ride on illegal areas (not official trails for public) around in northern westchester but I have not asked them where exactly yet. I think you just have to know the right people who know the right spots ;-)

If you want to do some real off-roading head out to Rausch Creek Off-Road Park in PA and make a weekend out of it. It will be lightyears beyond tooling around in someones backyard.

I actually just did that last weekend, and it was defintely worth it!! I don't know how it can get much better than that.

I might be out there the following weekend with either my YJ or dads new TJ the RC guided rides are a waste of time and money IMO join a local club and wheel with them RC already cost $35-$45 a day to wheel there

I'd have to disagree, while I've only done one guided ride there so far, it was great.
A great way to get introduced to driving off road. Well worth it to me. I look forward to this next one.

I'd love to join a club, but it's hard for me to get a full day off on weekends which is when I assume most clubs go wheeling.....

interested

Hey All,

New to the site, getting a new '12 this week. Definitely looking for a place within an hour or so of Westchester County to ride- nothing crazy but something offroad (legal or not). It's been very difficult researching this on the internet, despite the vast # of offroaders out there. If you hear anything, please shoot me a message. Would love to get out there and dirty up some brand new wheels.

NB
