If I'm not mistaken your near Watertown right? I know there was a thread recently going with a bunch of people near Watertown you should try searching also. I'm near Albany; not sure on everyone else. Good luck!

This is fun in its own right and embodies what having a Wrangler is about. We usually will go on Google maps and look for state parks or state forests and head out towards these places. Along the way if we see a dirt road or gravel road we will take it and see where it goes (we do respect posted signs). Sometimes we don't make it to our destination for a few hours because we get side tracked in a good way. The state parks and state forest have plenty of forest and trails around them. One nice state park gate keeper even directed us where a good place for off-roading was on the winter trail of their park. This may all seem like common sense however don't be afraid to explore. You may find good runs where you would never expect it.
If your in Troy head down rt7 to benington then Manchester vt there are trails there if u are responsible and don't abuse trails I'll give u directions to good half day trails in the area all legal but we don't like loads of beer cans and bottles tossed around the trails half hr drive from Troy

Hello from the other side

Hi all,

I'm actually not a Wrangler owner (Tacoma Owner) and normally hang around my Tacomaworld forum, but there unfortunately isn't too much activity there for the northeast. If you guys go out exploring I would love to join you, as long as you don't mind a Toyota tagging along. I have a few times found some stuff (also tested out the Grafton snow mobile trails) but not much.

I'm situated in Troy, NY as a graduate student at RPI. Please let me know if you do any future trail runs and I will see if I can join.

Additionally if you could PM me more detail about the trail you found between grafton and the Pittstown forest I would appreciate it. Do you know if the tree is still in the way there?

Hope hear from you guys soon!

Hey, I am new to this forum and really want to get offroading with some other Jeeps. I am in the Albany, NY area. If you guys are still going on trips, I would appreciate it if you would keep me in the loop. My Jeep is a DD so I don't want to do anything too drastic with it but crawling over some stuff would be cool.

DISCLAIMER: I can't go this weekend! My daughter is getting married - guess I gotta be there to walk her down the isle! Anyway, I am available most other weekends.
