Whispering Pines this weekend? (04/26)

I plan to go to whispering pines this weekend.
Preferred on Saturday 04/26
Anybody else interested to go there? Would be anyhow good to have another car in case of getting stuck... not my first priority plan, but who knows ;-)
Iīm from Pittsford, would be nice to go there together with like-minded people.

Christian

now I was on my own.
Itīs a very nice place there. Not too big but enough to have fun for a couple of hours. Unfortunately nobody could join, with more than one vehicle the fun is definitely a bigger one.
However, I joint the yearly membership and I will go there more often.

I would estimate 80% easy, 15% medium and 5% "too much for me and my Jeep" maybe duable but not for me...
Yes "Elsa" (our weiner) is the best, a real character

thatīs the way it goes. They come, and they leave... sadly :-(

I wouldnīt really say it was too much, but to much to risk getting stuck alone out there :-)
I plan tomorrow again, maybe possible for you?

As much as I would LOVE to do it this weekend me & my wife just bought a new house a few months ago & Im up to my neck in yard work. Also I have to change my diff fluid since its been 500 miles since my gear install & dont want to damage my lockers.Next weekend we are taking our dogs away to Lake George.Sooo i will be free the weekend of the 18th.
Is the pines big enough for a days worth of wheeling? Was it worth the ride? Its prob a 3 hrs ride for me. Let me know.Id also consider doing another trip to Rausch sometime.
Let me know.

Ours, Oscar, has cancer, probably wont be around too much more. He's been my wife's shadow for 13 years now, when he's gone this house will be a wreck, myself included.

Hows Oscar? My molly passed away a few months back.Im soo sad without her.She was my girl. When we had to put her down(We tried everything we could not to but her health was going downhill) we had the vet shave some hair and I wear it in a small stainless capsule I keep around my neck.Might sound corny but it helps.I love her soo much.RIP Molly.
