Vermont on New Years

I'll be heading up to Vermont, most likely in the Stowe area on New Years weekend. How are the roads up there around that time of year? Will I be fine in my stock TJ? How would a Honda Civic do? I'll be driving from North Carolina and 40 mpgs is better than 15. Any advice would help. I've done some snow driving down here, but we're lucky to get 5 inches a year.

Thanks.

Did you make the trip and what did you decide to drive ?

I only came across your post now so its a bit to late but whatever this is my .2$

Guess this Vt. forum is not too active but as a canadian who had a home in stowe for many years and still goes to Vt every week the jeep has a huge advantage because of the clearance and the four wheel option.

The roads are kept in pretty good condition but you never know whats to come.
