Ok, I've got a couple days before the 4th holiday that I get off (unless I get pulled into the N Korea crap) and I've been wondering what to do.

So, I'm heading to Pismo w/Deb. I'll be there on Thursday/Friday 02/03 July leaving Sat a.m. Staying at Vandenberg at the lodge on base (cheap I am).

If you can swing a Friday (or even Thursday) let me know. I've invited my local Jeep crew but I'm not sure they'll be able to make it.

My son does all that without me now. He has more fun with his buddies I guess. Its kinda funny because he will camp just a couple of miles down the road from the cabin and I wont ever see him. Oh and there's still lots of snow 8-9k ft.

Yeah, my son was home on his first leave from the Navy. Went out 2 Saturday's ago and made the pinion run, went shooting, to the beach, bbq'd etc.
