i never remember the part number on those, i almost get it right, but its not hard to look up. non greasable u joints are better. no real special tools, a hammer, a small chisel and punch, if the rings are on the inside of the shaft they are a little pain. its almost inevitable to ruin a couple u joints when you're learning. there's a bunch of little needle bearings inside the caps, don't lose them when you remove the caps for install, keep the joint lined up with the caps or else you'll crush the bearings during install also. if its your only driver, and you have to take it apart after you get parts, get an extra joint, and return it if you do well.
have to do rear drive shaft U joints this week. The rear is smoked. Might you know what size those are. And any tips or tricks to do the swap would be awesome. Also I am getting a vice and some snap ring pliers this week. Other than those and basic tools would i need any thing else. Thanks in advance you are always a big help.
