Been reading forums threads for months and you really know your stuff.
I have a 2012 JKU everything I ordered is now coming in.
I thought I had the wheels tires done, but now I see KMC makes a 17x9 Rockstar wheel (I know, but these are the only beefy 5 spoke wheels I can find, I'm painting the star black)
So for years people ran 18x9 zero offset wheels ok with 325/65r18 Goodyear Duractracs? All I read is you need 4.5" bs, but is that on a 8, 9, or 10" wheel? I know the difference in bs and offset, I read your posts. The Rockstar 17x9 has -12mm offset and the 18x9 are zero, then the 20x9 is back up to -24mm offset
I have an AEV 3.5 lift to install too.
Is this gonna work? Do I need to exchange for 17x9 wheels and the 315/70r17 tires?
I know 17 tires are cheaper, that isn't a big factor in my decision.
Any preference on what looks better? I would think the smaller you make that particular design wheel the more cramped the design will look with that center cap and stuff.
