Keep your head up Angel! It'll make your jeep mean that much more to you, knowing you put time and effort to get it running right. I hope you have some wrench head friends, because shop time can get pretty costly. I wish you a successful rebuild
Sweet. Sounds like a fun adventure to look forward to! Speaking of things to look forward to, I just signed up for a trackday in NV. A group of friends trailer our motorcycles from CA and ride the racetrack for the weekend. Im not taking the Jeep though, since we have a carpool going. Although, I was lookin at some of the post about Moab, UT. Now that is a road trip I'd like to take in the Jeep!
Lol no my family has a log cabin down there that we go to every summer. I figured it would be nice for a first road trip in the jeep. We either swim in the lake, jump off the cliffs, shoot guns or barbeque. I imagine I could find some good trails but I just wanted to bring it so I had a convenient ride for those arkansas roads. that's good that you know the history of your jeep. I wish I could say the same but I still have a lot to look at to know if my jeep will be ready to be taken offroad. I pulled the plug on the transfer case and there was absolutely no fluid in it.
I was lucky to have my Jeep passed down from my cousin. Got it with 80k, now has 120k and no mechanical issues at all! Its been in the family since new, so I know it was well taken care of. CA has nice trails for Jeep'n, do you have to drive all the way to Arkansas to find good trails?
currently... no. Just trying to see how much work it needs. When the summmer comes though I would like to do some muddin and maybe drive it down to arkansas. I've always loved Jeep but this is my first time owning one. Its gonna be quite the adventure...
