Sounds like a good time. My shop boss will probally be there. Derby/Wichita area is right where McConnell is at, smack inbetween the two. Sorry to hear about your grandma. Best wishes to both of you.

Distorted! Not bad. Hanging out in Kansas taking care of my grandma. She's not doing well at all. Part of life though, death. I'll be in your old stompin' grounds next weekend. I'll be meeting my buddy in Wichita/Derby. Going for a ride down to Cassidy, KS. I guess there'll be over a thousand bikes there on Sunday. Every first Sunday of the month is a huge get-together for bikers all over the state. Should be a good time.

I was thinking something after Thanksgiving maybe the 1st week of Dec. Wish it would snow in this state! Snow wheeling trip would be nice. And I've not a mud guy, I avoid it like the plague. lol

I don't think there's a website, but they're open 7 days a week from sunrise to sunset. The closest town is Randall, but it's a one-horse town, so you'd be better off staying in Manhattan. It's only about 20 miles to Manhattan, so it's an easy trip. There isn't any camping at the park, unfortunately, since it's pretty scenic and would be a great place to camp. I was just up there a couple of weeks ago and it was pretty muddy, but that's to be expected since it's rained here off and on quite a bit. The cool part about that is there are plenty of trails that are mostly rocky and the muddy bits are easy to avoid. I'm not a big fan of mud, personally. Anyways, let me know when you want to come up and go wheeling. I can go whenever, my schedule is pretty open!!
