my buddy is checkin on the specifics of precision gears cuz they have a 3 yr warranty, BUT, there's stipulations. like for the dana 30/35 axles they will not warranty broken parts if the tires run on them are bigger than 32". and everyone is runnin 33's all the time on them, but thats what all the manufacturers are saying. here's what we do, after the install, and our initial break in for the first few miles, we have you take it, and bring it back in 500 miles to change the fluids and re inspect everything. due to the nature of the beast when you are running lockers, the warranty on our labor and bearings is 6 months, and we're checkin into the warranty on the gears, yukon's warranty is 1 yr, but with all the fine print they basically don't warranty anything if you read it. if it is abused, competition, or off road and so on they will weasel out of the warranty, but who else would buy them. kinda dumb in my opinion. and obviously if something goes wrong and the pumpkin is full of mud or something its obviosly not covered due to misuse or lack of maintenance. unfortanetly its not like most things where i can say 3yr, 36k warranty, so you really have to consider who's doing the work. let me know what you think, and i'll get back to you with precision's warranty if its better.
keep in mind you are exceeding the axles recomendations, and the dana 30/35 are likely gonna be a weak point once you lock them up, if you're gonna be doing some moderate wheeling. i've known guys with that set up that never broke a thing, and others that broke every time they wheeled, it all depends on who's behind the wheel, and more importantly the skinny pedal
