Hey, thanks for the reply. I found some new news on my shock problem. It seems that when the mechanic installed the 2" spacers, he also put in new bump stops that sit inside the spring. The bump stops were too long. So ever time I went over some kind of bump I was being thrashed around due to contact between the bottom of the rubber bump stop and the axle where the spring rests. The contact was so hard that it actually dislodged both of the rear stops out of the cup mount. They were jammed into the springs. Anyhow, once removed, reinstalled and cut down to the proper length the entire ride improved 99%.

    Hello Reclaimer,

I'm having the exact same problem as what you listed in your post. Very rough ride. Just wondering how things turned out for you. Did you find replacing the shocks worked and if so, what kind would you recommend? I've been so frustrated with the rough ride on my Tj and any advice you can give would be great!

    Thanks,
    linz
