Kinda rainy, crappy out so thought Id drop you this. I am excited to learn anything I can. Goal is to keep it accessible for my vertically challenged wife. I do not have enough experience to diagnose something if I screw it up so I want to keep it simple. Thought about performance level kit with ranchos or bilsteins or the AEV 2.5 XT but hesitant because I do not want the 33's to look too small. Wont go bigger than a 33 on this on but plan on a 2 door purchase within the next 10 months.

    I sent a few Pic's to your e-mail.
    What wheels/tires did you get?
It's amazing how much different/better it looks with just wheels/tires.
Got any Pic's of your Jeep????

Hope all is well! All good my friend! My email is jdambm@yahoo.com. I went ahead and did wheels and tires on mine and am trying to find a stopping point for summer lol. I know I will have to do a level kit eventually but am still waiting for the SRS seatcovers from trek armor Mitch emailed me today hopefully will know something end of month. Maybe we will chat when it rains.

I've been away for awhile. I'm not on here much when the weather is nice outside.
OK, I finally have some pictures.
I haven't figured out how to attach them to a private message.
I can email them to you, or I can post them in my Jeep Profile.

I rides alot nicer, but it does feel firm at the same time. firm/smooth. It's kinda hard to describe. It got rid of the bouncy feel, and the nose dive is gone too. I did get a little more lift than expected. I got 3 inches of height, not including tires.

Ha Ha not really! i Know that I want to run Pintlers and would like to get bigger tires. I am interested in learning and doing this but would have no clue how to install a lift. like you I like aev stuff and am going that direction! If it improves handling and ride I am definitely in!

The install wasn't too bad. It did take me a full day. But I took my time and made sure everything was right. I'm kinda picky/anal when it comes to working on my stuff. I'll send you some pic's later, after I get the wheels/tires on. What do you have planned in the spring? or have you figured that out yet?

Awesome my friend I am so happy to hear that. Hopefully you will post pics up soon or at least email me some so I have something to drool over until I can swing it in the spring. I know you have always been handy with a wrench but how hard is it? I am stoked for you man that is awesome.

The lift is great! It rides/handles awesome. Alot better than stock. No more nose dive when I hit the brakes. It does look goofy right now, I'm running my stock tires for a few weeks. I wanted to make sure everything felt good with the lift, before I added the new wheels/tires into the mix. I'm getting the new shoes mounted and balanced this week. I'll put them on next weekend.
