The winch bumper will mount to the 2012 JK without removal or modification to the vacuum unit. I have not mounted a winch into the bumper yet and do not plan to. I plan on welding a 2" receiver to 3/8 steel plate and bolting it where the winch would bolt to. Leaving the receiver hidden behind the winch omit cover.
You may or may not have to remove or modify the vacuum once you try to install a winch. But the bumper WILL mount without removal or modification of the vacuum unit. The bolt on the side where the vaccum unit is, is tight, but can be bolted without too much trouble.
Mopar Offroad Bumper Part#82211718 $600 with optional tire Carrier Part#82211832AB $500
Must remove receiver hitch to install then re-install hitch. At least on my Curt hitch. I think the Mopar/Rugged Ridge hitch has a longer throat and may not need to be removed before installation.
Fit perfect, no problems at all. Made(subcontracted) for the Jeep by Jeep/Mopar so the color and texture match very well. Has grease zert for carrier pivot pin. Full width for when I'm crawlin the malls and someone tries to back into me.
