Good. What's nice about writing fiction, though, is I ignore some of the rules for the sake of pacing. Incomplete sentences are friend to tension.

Just remember that mainly modifiers do something to the noun or the verb. It's like adding... adding rank to a soldier. At the base, the soldier is still just that, but the stripe changes him giving you a fuller picture of what his purpose is.
