I think your axles are fine if 35s are all you intend on running. I went with the 8.8 because it was cheaper than a 44, but from what I hear the 44 is fine. As for the 30, I have read plenty of stuff by Jerry that say the 30 is good up to 35s locked...and if you start getting into some pretty tough stuff, chromos are a wise choice. He has ran hammers on a 30 with chromo shafts without issue (he busted a stock shaft on the hammers)...and thats good enough proof for me lol.

I think the zj swap will hold up alright, they seem to be a lot stouter than the stock set up. It seems like a safe upgrade.

Thanks for the kind words though. I know how u feel about tire coverage. It sure isnt legal here ...I just took my chances. My town is pretty lenient when it comes to offroad vehicles, but even driving out of town I havent had an issue. Now that I have said that, I will probably get dinged on the way home

The roller fairlead came with the winch. And I have the Engo E9000, just for clarification.

Sure did. It's not complete, but it's holding up for the time being with quite a bit of decent wheeling. I did an 8.8 swap with a buddy brackets, welded tubes 4.88 gears. I have also added an aftermarket tie rod. It is basically a new rod that uses stock size ends (not most people's first recommendation). I will eventually do a currie set up when I can afford it or my current set up fails me. My brakes are still currently stock. My intentions are to upgrade to black magic pads and rotors when my current set wears out. I haven't had an issue with what I have now though. Everything seems to be holding up well though and I have done a fair share of wheeling on it. Do u plan on upgrading soon?
