A new disposal is 100 bucks for a solid cheap one. The really quiet one I got my mom was 180 (it is a monster- will chew up corn husks, But the minute it touchs metal it will stop so you don't blow up the motor). NVR's truck is a mess need a wiring harness book for the thing.

if the wall is that soft we can try and save all the tile on the wall too. Which wall is it? The long one on or the facuet side or the back wall??

it would not cost that much at all! I probably have most the material in extras at the gurnee house. Maybe 50 bucks if that.

it should be a wall board like dura rock or the such if it is really soft it is probably drywall green board. That is the reason why it is soft. Over the years the drywall will get soft and needs to be replaced. Hope the whole wall doesn't need to be replaced.
