I'm at summer camp in NH. They set up WiFi about a week ago. Had to go out and get a usb one as I couldn't get my access point to connect to it. Now I'm on line for the remainder of camp over the next four weeks, I hope. I had the top down today and it was sweet. Lots of dirt roads around here. Jeep's been getting dirty and I have been using it a lot. Camp has been really busy. I'm hoping to get some rest over the next week the late nights are starting to have an effect. Most importantly, my son has been having a great time. It has been fun watching him figure out how to use an alarm clock to be on time to his assigned areas as a counselor in training. It is getting late so can't stay and write too long. Will keep in touch.
It's been quiet around here for over a week. I wonder if the engineer is on vacation. Weather here has been a mixed bag of tricks. I have had the top down a few times. Last weekend, drove a couple hundred miles with it down. It felt good. Did a little of off roading in NH and had a chance to put it in 4 low. That was fun. I'm looking forward to more of the same.
All the best,
You know, Andy is not such a bad guy once you get to know him. He has a decent sense of humor and once I saw where he was coming from and he knew where I was coming from, he seemed to accommodate me and my opinion. I'm kinda glad that we had a chance to spar because now I think we both have come to know each other better and can hopefully keep our posts interesting. The evidence about how people were interested in the thread was the posts that happened after the exchange.
Well, the encounter was a little testy but I tried to stay on the high road. Those two reasons about the ecology and the poor were teasers that I put out there to see if he would catch as being not related. He not only caught it he took it hook line and sinker further than I thought he would. But notice how I stayed away from retorting. I figured that I would let other readers use the side information to see where he was coming from. And he went right were I suspected he would go. Rocket science. Most people just want to keep their jeep going and not worry about every little detail. Anyway, it was a great exchange.
We have been in the chill box here in New England over the past four or so days. Today it is warming up into the low seventies. End of the week will be in the 80s. Can't wait to get the top down again.
