Just be sure to check with Quadratec or someone else to make sure the TruSpeed calibrater will work with a Rubicon before you buy it, but I'm pretty sure it will.

    Jeff-
I can only post a short (1000) word message. I agree with you. The speedo does play a role in shift points for the trans. If you have a Rubicon, Superlift can help you out with their TruSpeed calibrater.
Superlift Suspension 33002 - Superlift TruSpeed Speedometer Recalibration for 92-06 Jeep® Wrangler YJ & TJ with Over Size Tires - Quadratec It can be set for two different tire sizes and can be re-adjusted for others. It's a little pricey but it should help. Search the forum to see if anyone else has used it and to see if it works. Also do a Google search for Wrangler Speedo Adjustment.

Otherwise if you have the NP231 transfer case it uses a gear instead of an electronic sensor and you can simply swap the gear Search Results - Quadratec

If you have any other questions don't hesistate to ask! I hope this helps you out!
