Lots to digest. If you are on the highway a lot I would look at the 5000X or the 9000's. The 7000MT is a monotube so a high gas charged shock. I love the 7000 and even after I switched backed to the 9000 I firmed up my ride because I was used to the firmness of the 7000. All of these shocks you mentioned are back by our 90 day ride guarantee. If you aren't happy return for a refund.
    P/N's
    RS999329
    RS999330

    For the 5000X
    RS55329
    RS55330

I haven't driven a 4 door yet with the 5000X's yet... but on a 2 door I was really happy.

Starting to price out shocks. I have a '13 2 door Moab edition with a 2" AEV BB.
I'm thinking of bumping up the 14/56 springs a bit to help with added weight of our Teardrop camper.
Everyone raves about the RS9000XL, But I'm hearing great things about the RS5000X.
Today I stumbled across the RS7000MT and now I'm just more confused.
We do a lot of trail riding, and occasional offroad parks. More Overland stuff I guess.
I also do a lot of highway driving, its my Daily driver.

So with the current 2" lift, and thoughts of changing springs. (Maybe going to the RK Stock Mod, if I can get straight answers that I won't get 4" out of their 2.5 springs!)
Let call it 2-3" lift on a 2 door Soft top, with AEV Bumpers front and back, Syn. Winch. Maximus-3 Carrier setup, and occasional tow vehicle with 100# tongue weight.

    What can you recommend?

    Thanks
    Paul

I really like the RS9000's as they are adjustable from a soft to firm setting.
    Look to the following P/N's.
    RS999329 (front)
    RS999330 (rear)
There are a lot of great vendors on here that get you pricing.
    Good luck. Matt

All our kits (except the 2" SPORT) come with all new springs. Many like our springs because they are similar to stock, so a nice ride. We offer a 3" SPORT system(RS66106B or RS66110B uses a progressive spring) that might be a nice fit, especially with the brackets. For shocks for either system look to RS999329 (front) RS999330 (rear) . If you are patient we offer a STRONG rebate starting March 1. Feel free to ask more questions. Thanks Matt

    Hi,
reading this post what would you susgest for my lift. I have a 15 jku that I'm going to install a teraflex 2.5' lift.. If there were some complete kits from Rancho with 4 springs I'd consider it. I already have the RS6250B Kit.

Tarpon, the springs are a linear spring. A lot of guys are running the RockKrawler 1.5" springs in the rear. At this time we don't offer a rear spring. Hope this helps. Matt
