totally understand... I was on the poor side of Troy MI, my first GT was only $40 for the frame, then I saved up cleaning dog kennels to add stuff to it. I also got a heck of a deal on the redline w/frame and forks for only $60. Then after that was stolen, you wouldn't believe I found my second 500a frame and forks in the trash. 10 years later, while driving to work I spotted a chrome bike frame out w/garbage cans. I about crapped myself when I seen it was a 500a like the one I used to race! Fun times for sure! Now, any extra money goes into the Jeep lol

I used to BMX a lot back when I lived in Chicago, but now i prefer not to kill myself jumping ramps. I never really had the expensive bikes like you. I had a diamondback bmx bike for about 6 years now and its still hanging somewhere in my garage. Its steel frame is heavy but very strong. I still bike, but not like I used to (Currently no health insurance LOL).

I don't think that video you mentioned was mine, but it sounds like something I would do lol. I will check out the link you posted.

Hey. I've seen your icon on a bunch of threads, and it caught my eye. I have red a 94 yj with white doors off a 92. Yours looks like it's supposed to be like that, though. I think it's the writing on you hood. Might have to get that done to mine... haha Either way, nice Jeep, man.

I think I found a good way to repair the jeep with the hole in the frame back to better then new. I have a friend who owns a machine shop that can make me a custom sleve to slide on three sides and then weld that in place after I have removed all the bad spots and sealed the metal up after cutting the bad out. Do you know of a good Jeep mechanic or welding guy around the area?
