Hi! I apologize that I have forgotten your name (embarassed), but it has been quite a while..is it Mike?

I am finally starting my trailer project! I'll finally put the extra set of wheels to use Actually, I had them 'shod' and put them on my Sahara and saved my old ones for the trailer.

May do a little shuffling around later since your old wheels are 17"s and after the fact I figured out mine are 18"s....not a issue, but will put the 18's back on the Jeep and use the 17s for the trailer.

Anyway, here is the thread I started: http://www.wranglerforum.com/f118/th...ld-852122.html

I am following JScherb's build in the "fiberglass replica miltary trailer" thread in this forum.

Hope all is good up your way!

    Don

not really "marked" but yeah it's an open trail. been back a few times, but honestly I prefer hard rock and lazy springs. they are ORV parks. you have to pay... but the wheeling is as fun or better because of the rocks...

OK great, I don't know about Sunday. Andi and I both are planning to get off work early on Friday before JeepBeach would love to hook up for the ride over. Let me know when you have a departure time.

    hey mike-
no, it's not too involved. you need a winch plate, then you just have to trim the front bumper to mount the plate to the frame. i'll show it all to you at the show and shine on the 9th of March... you're going right?

"My JKU has a very basic setup, leveling kit, and 285/70/17's"

The tire thread is so confusing, haha. I hope you don't mind me asking, but I was told that 285/70/17s were the largest tire you could put on a stock jeep set up. Does this describe yours, meaning no back spacing, etc.? Also, did you use stock 17 wheels/rims?

    Thanks for your time,
    BobH
