If you are mounting this in the bumper, just a couple of notes depending on if you have been looking at some other build threads. Not many guys made note of where on the reails to mount your plate. Make sure you are not all the way forward, give yourself some space for your fog lamps. I did not have a lot of room because I mounted mine forward, I did this because of the second important item, where are you mounting the fairlead? If you are cutting a big enough hole in the bumpers to mount to the plate, no problem. I mounted to the outside of the plastic bumper. That would be the other issue, some guys mounted outside like I did but used cheezy spacers. If you do, you need to use something with some balls as a spacer. I actually had my friends machine shop available so I used some aluminum block stock. Four inches long x two inches high x 1.5 wide. It is firm against the mount and the fairlead, the fairlead is going no where when torked on if you get my drift.
