|Shokker||I put in 6.5 kickers in the sound bar. Just drilled new holes. Put 5.25s in the dash and made some wooden brackets. Try crutchfield.com. Makes stereo buying much easier|

Since we're on the topic... Do these fit perfectly in the sound bar w/o any modification?

I put 6.5"s Alpines in the sound bar. I also put infinity's 5.25s in the dash made my own brackets.I also put in an Alpine deck and amp made specifically for the Alpine deck. The sound is much improved.

|InfernoGirl||If you put 6.5"s in the sound bar they'll sound better. And www.nalinmfg. Com has metal adapters for mounting 5.25's in the dash. He's a great guy and a fellow keeper.|

|AsylumTJ||Alpine Type S 5 1/4 for the rear deck (sound bar) they are a perfect fit. Front i think the same will fit but you need a bracket that you can buy from quadratec. Now for the stock sub pull the fuse out from the glove box for that, unless you want to remove it, then use slim line sub in the back with a 600 watt amp that right there would do you in for about $500 or so and the quality is a lot better than stock.|

Sound system advice
Bought the Ulimited in 2005, new, with the 7 speaker Infinity system and stock radio. Recent rain in Cali got the inside of my Jeep so moist that speakers are done. Want to replace the whole shabang but have NO idea where to start. I want more durability and better sound than the stock but don't want to spend more than about $700 if possible. Any ideas?
