timberspirit04 I can tell you 70 from central KS to almost Denver is pretty BORING to me. Just not a lot to look at, 80 seemed to be a little better, not a lot but a little. Just thought I would throw in my $.02. Have a safe trip any way you go.

bluvikng I would stay off of 80, around chicago. I think your best time, would be on 80, and then catch 74 just as you get to IL, take it to Indianapolis, IN.......and catch 70 east, from there.

Trip from Cali to Ohio

I am taking off this weekend to help a relative pick up a mobile veterinary exam trailer in Ohio and drag it home. Not a trip for the YJ we're taking her new Yukon.

We were planning on running highway 50 to 70 for the trip out and coming back interstate 80 with the trailer.

Neither of us has done the drive before. Any suggestions on the route? A gal at work was suggesting reversing our plan and to run I80 going east and then come home 70 to 50.
